OnePlus today announced the OnePlus TV U1S, which is the latest model in the company’s growing lineup of televisions for the Indian market.
The OnePlus TV U1S is an LED LCD television. It comes in three sizes, 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch, each with a UHD resolution of 3840×2160 pixels. The panel has a 10-bit color depth and 93% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. The U1S also supports HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG but there’s no Dolby Vision. OnePlus claims a color accuracy of Delta-E
The U1S comes with a pair of stereo speakers with 30W of amplification and Dynaudio tuning. The television supports standard Dolby Audio but not Atmos.
The U1S runs on the Android TV 10 platform with built-in apps for Netflix, Prime Video, and Spotify. There’s built-in Google Assistant and Chromecast along with Miracast, DLNA, and Multicast. For running your application, the U1S features 16GB internal storage with 2GB of system memory.
For connectivity, the OnePlus TV U1S features 3x HDMI 2.1 connectors (with HDMI 1 having eARC) along with a single optical audio output, analog AV input, Ethernet, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11n, and 2x USB 2.0 ports.
Along with the TV, OnePlus is also launching the OnePlus TV Camera. Designed to attach to all existing OnePlus TVs, the OnePlus TV Camera enables capturing wide-angle photos and 1080p video. There are also dual microphones and background noise cancelation. This device can be used for making video calls using apps like Google Duo from your television. When not in use, the camera can be closed by sliding a cover on the lens.
The OnePlus TV U1S is priced at INR 39,999 for the 50-inch model, INR 47,999 for the 55-inch model, and INR 62,999 for the 65-inch model. The OnePlus TV Camera is priced at INR 2,499.
The OnePlus TV U1S will be on sale starting tomorrow, June 11 at 12PM IST, on Amazon India, OnePlus India, and Flipkart, along with retail outlets.
